Respect Gaymes 2015

Respect Gaymes – On Saturday the 6th June 2015 the Lesbian and Gay Federation in Berlin-Brandenburg (LSVD) in Berlin Jahn Sports Park present the Respect Gaymes. Under the motto “Show respect for gays and lesbians,” the sports and cultural event for prejudice and discrimination-free co place already for the eighth Time this year. Around 700 athletes can have fun at the soccer and beach volleyball tournaments. Visitors can take part in rap and graffiti workshops, the Breakdance Battle or the other competitions cheer or live music on the main stage listening. For the first time this year there will be a tournament at the trendy sport Jugger. In the Action Area of the SV Empor is also present with basketball, chess and weightlifting have many sports activities. Another highlight will be like every year the VIP soccer tournament that pits personalities from politics, culture and the gay and lesbian community against each other. Berlin, Germany.

• Around 700 athletes can let off steam at the football and beach volleyball tournaments.
• Visitors can participate in various workshops, cheer when Breakdance Battle or other competitions or enjoy the live music on the main stage.
• 6 youth bands play to the favor of the audience and the jury. They play their own songs and gecoverte and a respect song, the band apply with for an appearance at the Berlin CSD.
• For the kids there is a bouncy castle next to a children’s Olympics by Rainbow Family Centre and the children football tournament from SV Empor.
• Another highlight will be like every year the VIP football tournament, compete with the personalities from politics, culture and the gay and lesbian community to today.

Am Samstag, den 6. Juni 2015 veranstaltet der Lesben- und Schwulenverband Berlin-Brandenburg (LSVD) im Berliner Jahn-Sportpark wieder die Respect Gaymes. Unter dem Motto „Zeig Respekt für Lesben und Schwule!“ findet das Sport- und Kultur-Event für ein vorurteils- und diskriminierungsfreies Miteinander zum 10. Mal statt.

Rund 700 Sportlerinnen und Sportler können sich bei den Fußball- und Beachvolleyball-Turnieren austoben. Besucherinnen und Besucher können an verschiedenen Workshops teilnehmen, beim Breakdance Battle oder den anderen Wettkämpfen mitfiebern oder der Live-Musik auf der Hauptbühne lauschen. 6 Jugendbands spielen um die Gunst des Publikums und der Jury. Sie spielen eigene und gecoverte Songs und einen Respekt Song, mit dem die Bands sich für einen Auftritt beim Berliner CSD bewerben. Für die kleinen gibt es neben einer Hüpfburg auch eine Kinder-Olympiade vom Regenbogenfamilienzentrum sowie das Kinderfußballturnier vom SV Empor. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt wird wie jedes Jahr das VIP-Fußball-Turnier sein, bei dem Persönlichkeiten aus Politik, Kultur und der lesbisch-schwulen Community gegeneinander antreten.
