In 2014, the Oakridge Visual Arts students were inspired by Pride London Festival to create a variety of artworks to share with the community. The Art classes collaboratively brainstormed the meaning behind the event. They created a large mind map starting with “Pride” in the center. From this starting point students branched out to discuss the diverse connections and what those connections meant to each one of them.
Once again this year, Rogers TV London, Cable 13HD will broadcast the entire Pride London Festival Parade as part of London Pride 2015 on Wednesday, July 29th at 8:00pm. All parade entries must sign a release form and Rogers TV will try to include all groups in the broadcast. More information about London Pride 2015 on Rogers TV, please visit RogersTV.com.
