The Silent Auction – which supports Stonewall’s ongoing work to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people – is now live at www.stonewall.org.uk/silentauction and is open to bids from everyone.

Lots on offer include a one of a kind signed self-portrait drawn by Ian McKellen (with thanks to Gay Star News), an original 7” Pet Shop Boys single signed by Dusty Springfield and the boys themselves, meet and greet tickets to The Clare Balding Show and signed tennis gear from sporting legend Martina Navratilova.

Bidders can also win afternoon tea at The Royal Horseguards Hotel with Dragon’s Den’s Deborah Meaden, an evening of wine tasting with Paris Lees and the opportunity to win meet and greet tickets to Alan Carr’s Chattyman. Silent auction bidders also have the chance to spend a day with the penguins at London Zoo or win a lifetime supply of Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.

Catherine Bosworth, Director of Fundraising at Stonewall said: ‘We’re thrilled with the variety of lots at this year’s Stonewall Silent Auction. Whether you want tea with a Dragon, to meet some of Britain’s most prized presenters or an afternoon with the penguins – there’s something for everyone. All money raised from the silent auction will support Stonewall’s ongoing work to improve the lives of lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people – so please dig deep, and take home a fabulous prize while you’re at it!’

Stonewall’s Silent Auction closes for online bids at midday on Friday 27 March, and reopens that evening for guests at the Equality Dinner.
