Unless you’re straight or didn’t log into Facebook last week, you know that there was a big controversy over a new “dress code” policy at this year’s Alan Ross Texas Freedom Parade. In short, those in the parade were told not to show off an erection. That was about the extent of it, when all was said and done.
Still, gay rights activists complained that the Dallas Gay Pride Parade was going to be too toned-down. They worried the family-friendly atmosphere takes away from some LGBT people’s right to be “out and proud” and who they are.

Maybe the parade wasn’t as risque as it was in the past, but there was still a lot of eye-catching skin. These 13 photos prove it (oh, and sorry, no erections. Next year.):
