Three iconic Drag mothers Miss Peppermint, Crystal, and Barbada de Barbades mentor and usher in a new generation of drag performers
OUTtv, the world’s first LGBTQ2+ TV Network has today announced the cast for the highly-anticipated new reality drag series ‘Call Me Mother,’ which will be premiering exclusively on the network, OUTtv.com, the OUTtv Apple TV Channel and the OUTtv Amazon Prime Channel (where available) on Tuesday, October 25th at 9 pm ET/PT, with new episodes each week.
OUTtv has also announced the addition of Toronto drag legend, Farra N Hyte to the cast. Farra N Hyte, iconic mother of the house of Hytes, will be joining Call Me Mother as a choreographer and judge.
The unscripted reality series, hosted by Dallas Dixon (Entertainment Tonight Canada) and produced by Go Button Media, based on a format by RedFlame TV, will see ten exciting, diverse drag artists vie for a place in one of three new drag houses, and for the opportunity to be mentored by a drag legend. Over the course of eight weeks, the House of Dulcet (Miss Peppermint), the House of Glass (Crystal), and the House of Harmonie (Barbada de Barbades) will compete as families in a series of challenges…
