On Saturday 12 October 2013 we launch Hate Crime Awareness Week with a special act of remembrance at St Paul’s Cathedral, which will be attended by various representatives of those families affected by hate crime and organisations that work with those affected by hate crime or bullying. There are a number of free tickets available to the general public through http://stpaulsactofremembrance-eorg.eventbrite.co.uk and encourage all those that wish to attend to come along.

There are also numerous events across the week including fundraising events, which aims to benefit five charity/organisations working to tackle hate crime in our communities and bulling in our schools; 17-24-30, Disability Hate Crime Network, Inclusion For All,Galop andStop Hate UK.

This will culminate with Solidarity Vigils across the UK, Last year there were 14 vigils that took place around the UK; these include Norwich, Reading, Brighton, Milton Keynes, Plymouth. More details of these can be found at http://172430notohatecrime.wordpress.com
