Entertainmentwise.com has reported that the ex Harry Potter star is to play another sexually ambiguous role, which critics are saying, could be his most controversial and lucrative yet.
Rumours are circulating in Tinsel Town that Dan is set to replace Sasha Baron Cohen in the upcoming biopic of the late Queen front man Freddie Mercury.
The Daily Star has sources close to the actor saying that:
“Daniel has been told the part is his if he wants it,” the source reports
“Despite his youth, Daniel impressed movie bosses with his portrayal of gay poet Allen Ginsburg in this year’s movie Kill Your Darlings.”
And can Mr Radcliffe sing? Well the ‘source’ claims he really can!
Daniel Radcliffe’s latest cinematic offering, Kill Your Darlings sees the actor, 24, engaging in gay sex and full nudity. The actor was not allowed to attempt any manscaping during filming after the director John Krokidas banned all razor action below the belt line.
Freddie Mercury was the front man of one of world’s biggest rock groups, Queen, until he died in 1991 aged just 45 from bronchopneumonia brought on by AIDS.
