She’s off to a flying start – as it’s revealed that Sam Bailey’s Skyscraper is in the lead for Christmas Number 1

Sam Bailey, winner of X Factor 2013 is off to a flying start in the race for Christmas Number 1 in the UK. Her debut single has already sold over 45,000 units – and this is set to rise once the single is released physically on CD tomorrow.

Currently resting at number 2 is Pharrell William’s Happy and at Number 3 is Leona’s festive offering One More Sleep.

Further down the list is Susan Boyle’s duet with Elvis – O Come All Ye Faithful which is at 86, whilst The Big Reunions I Wish It Could Be Christmas Everyday is at number 11.
