Musician Paula Riordan, and local choir the Thames Valley Gay chorus help to kick off the stage in the early afternoon, supporting Practically Pink and Troublemaker (Pink and Olly Murs tributes respectively). Headliners Rhapsody take to the stage at 5:20pm, bringing a full hour of Queen hits to get everyone up and dancing, and they’re followed by a special appearance from Jo O’Meara from S Club 7.

The Oxford Pride Festival is a 10-day long celebration of lesbian, gay, bi, trans and queer life in Oxfordshire. This year, our festival looks at LGBT role models, both within the community, and the wider world. There are the people who have inspired us, driven us, given us the confidence to stand up and be ourselves and helped us to feel comfortable with who we are.

Oxford Pride is very proud to be supported by Unite The Union South East this year, providing both funding and support in organising the festival week. The knowledge and contacts in local businesses Unite have been able to provide to Pride have proven invaluable in the successful planning of Pride this year.
