We’re introduced to Patrick (Jonathan Groff; Glee), a video game designer who is trying to find his way back to the dating scene after discovering his ex was engaged. The 29-year-old is seen as the ‘Boy Next Door’ and spends most of his time on dating websites, when he’s not hanging out with his buddies Augustin (Frankie J. Alvarez; Smash) and Dom (Murray Bartlett; Neighbours).
Augustin is a free spirit and a struggling artist who is finding it tough to come to terms with the meaning of monogamy, while Dom, a waiter in a restaurant is facing crossroads in his life; it’s his upcoming 40th birthday and he can’t decide whether or not to open up a restaurant of his own and stop dating too-young men….
