Benji The Gay Bull is showing his support for gay marriage which is about to go to vote on friday in his home country of Ireland. Benji who faced the slaughter house just for being gay is now living a happy life with his new male friend Alex who he befriended on the first day of being re-homed at a sanctuary in Norfolk.

Graham Davies from TheGayUK said, “With the Irish public going to vote tomorrow, we know that Benji would be one of the first to not only support gay marriage for his human friends who helped save his life, but to also urge the public who may have no connection to the LGBT community or those thinking of voting no, to think about how important equality is in their own lives and make the right choice.”

Benji The Gay Bull became famous in late 2014 when a Crowdfunding page, set up by TheGayUK Magazine, raised over £9,000 to save him from being slaughtered for being gay and not wanting to mate with females. This sum included a £5,000 donation from the late Sam Simon the Co-Creator of the Simpsons who sadly passed away earlier this year.
