The Global LGBT/Diversity Business Development organization advises customers worldwide on how to leverage LGBT/Diversity and human capital as strategic business drivers to improve workforce effectiveness, foster collaboration, and stimulate innovation. Our team has worked closely with the IBM sales community worldwide to showcase IBM’s global LGBT / diversity best practices in order to gain access to new decision makers and position IBM solutions during our engagement. We have successfully identified sales opportunities related to human capital management, collaboration, business analytics, and CRM as a result of our engagement.
Business Development Executive IBM
Our team is currently seeking a Business Development Executive with strong customer facing skills in North America. As a member of our organization, you will serve as a trusted business advisor to IBM account teams to identify ways to leverage IBM’s competencies to create competitive advantage. You will also identify, manage, and leverage LGBT/diversity networks and strategic partnerships with community organizations, that help achieve your business objectives for target markets.
In summary, the BDE will leverage strong consultative selling experience to ultimately achieve the following objectives:
-Position IBM as a global business transformation provider in partnership with account teams and brands to generate pipeline and client satisfaction
-Cultivate and nurture key relationships with LGBT, HR, Diversity, and Marketing business leaders resulting in pipeline generation and client satisfaction
-Partner across IBM to promote and leverage IBM`s commitment to Diversity and LGBT as market differentiators
-Build eminence through targeted speaking engagements providing access to business decision makers
It is also expected that newly hired resources into the Global Business Services U.S. practice live within a reasonable commuting distance (generally 50 miles) of the following cities: Atlanta, GA; Boston, MA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Columbus, OH; Cleveland, OH; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Detroit, MI; Hartford, CT; Houston, TX; Kansas City, MO; Los Angeles, CA; Miami, FL; New York City, NY and surrounding area; Philadelphia, PA; San Francisco, CA; and Washington, DC.
