July 9 UPDATE:
In his meeting with the Dallas media Tuesday morning, Seguin apologized for the tweet, and insisted it was a hack-job.
“My Twitter was, in fact, taken over along with a few other things that are with my name. It definitely didn’t feel good that my name was out there saying negative things, but I definitely want to apologize to anyone that was hurt by what I said.”
He explained that it was a decision made by him and Dallas Stars’ president Jim Lite to shut down the Twitter account.

“In no way, shape or form does the Dallas Stars organization condone or agree with the message that was sent out through Tyler Seguin’s Twitter feed last night. We’ve addressed the issue directly with Tyler and we’ll continue to work on educating our players regarding the importance of their conduct on all forms of social media.”
You can’t see the tweet anymore. It’s since been deleted. Seguin claims his account was hacked, and that this wasn’t the first time. So, he shut down his Twitter profile.

Anyway, this wasn’t the first time Seguin drew fire for a homophobic tweet. In April, he was
The last time, he didn’t blame it on a hacker, though. He tweeted an apology the following day.
You know when your half asleep and say or write something without thinking twice or realizing what you said. Apologies on last tweet. Gnight
