SAY HELLO DOLLY TO EDINBURGH GAY MEN’S CHORUS!
“What’s In A Name ?” 23 November 2013 supporting Waverley Care
by Newsdesk | 20th November 2013
The men of Edinburgh Gay Men’s Chorus are gearing up for their latest show this Saturday 23 November. Comprising modern hits, old favourites and of course a show tune or two, they will be celebrating the names of those loved, lost or loathed; from Abba to Blondie, Donald to Valerie.
The Church Hill Theatre will play host to the four-part male voice chorus with piano as they present their sixth major winter performance with inimitable style, humour and harmony. The concert supports Waverley Care; Scotland’s leading charity for the care and support of people living with HIV or Hepatitis C.
Duncan Reddish, PR & Marketing Director for EGMC said: “We are excited to be presenting our latest programme of songs that we all know and love with full chorus numbers, smaller ensemble pieces and solo performances with a twist.
Our “What’s In A Name” production has something for everyone; from rock and pop to classic show tunes and everything in between! Our choir is all about making beautiful music and having fun and we can’t wait to get back on stage to show people what we’ve been busy rehearsing. EGMC is proud to support Waverley Care and we look forward to taking this show on the road for an extra date in Glasgow for this important charity helping those living with HIV and Hepatitis C in Scotland”
“What’s In A Name” showing Saturday 23 November 2013, 8pm, Church Hill Theatre Edinburgh and Tuesday 26 November 2013, 8:30pm, Glasgow Student Union. Tickets on the door or on-line: www.egmc.co.uk
