That’s it, the second Semi Final of the Eurovision Song Contest has been sung and won, and we now know all the countries that will be performing in the Grand Final on Saturday night.

The second show really got moving quickly with all countries making use of the awesome staging. None more so than Austria’s amazing Conchita Wurst who completely stole the show with an incredible performance of Rise Like a Phoenix.
Another crowd favourite was Finnish school-boy-band Softengine. Their dance-rock number included most of Copenhagen’s lights to make their number stand out from the crowd.
When Austria was finally announced as getting through to the final, the crowd went wild. Partly because of the vitriol Conchita has been getting from various media outlets, and partly because her song was without a doubt the best one of the night. (Except for the amazing performance by Jessica Mauboy from Australia) .
No doubt the show on Saturday night will be an awesome spectacle. We are still waiting with bated breath to hear who will be playing in which order, the countries have all picked their half (see below) and the actual running order will be released soon. We’ll keep you updated on that as soon as it comes to hand.
