Account Executive for LGBT Advertising Sales

Account Executive for LGBT Advertising Sales

Applicants must have a strong background in DIGITIAL MEDIA SALES to be able to prospect, develop, and maintain new and existing relationships. Be ambitious, outgoing, and have a competitive spirit. Also should have strong communication skills, be highly motivated, a team player, and have a willingness to learn. Applicants should have a strong desire for high income earnings working in a 1099 commissioned based environment.

This is an ideal position for someone who is networked in the GLBT communities and enjoys the social aspect of business.
Qualifications and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Be self-motivating, self-disciplined, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to cross-sell digital media products as well as print media products.
  • Experience with sales force and other CRM software systems
  • Have a full understanding of “relationship selling”
  • Have exceptional organizational skills
  • Possess excellent customer service skills
  • Build a portfolio while maintaining your existing client relationships
  • Work with writers and photographers
  • Attend special events during the evening and weekends as needed
  • Identify areas of opportunity and growth
  • Outside B2B sales experience is mandatory
  • Live locally
