Brighton Pride has been going in one form or another annually since 1991, this is it’s 24th year and will be one not to be forgotten.

From the first march to last years party in Preston Park, it’s our roots in the community that make us what we are today.

We look forward to protesting, parading and partying harder than ever before.

A celebration of Love and Life with Pride.

Join Brighton Pride at a unique celebration of love and life in New Steine Gardens in the heart of the Gay Village on Sunday 3rd of August as Brighton & Hove’s LGBTQ community comes together to celebrate Pride and remember friends and loved ones at a very special candle lit sunset event.

Hosted by the LGBT Community Safety Forum, the Pride Celebration of Love and Life will provide a space for reflection and celebration, lit up by love and the support of each other this Brighton Pride.

With guest speakers and the Rainbow Chorus performing, The Pride Celebration of Love and Life will be an inclusive event for all, giving Pride-goers a chance to join as a community for a wonderful act of commemoration and celebration.

Pride LGBT Community Parade

Brighton Pride’s LGBT Community parade in 2013 was rightly one of the highlights of the day and the most visible part of Pride for the general public who flocked to the city to enjoy the unique spectacle.

Join 160,000 expected participants and spectators as 2014’s LGBT community Pride Parade The World’s A Disco celebrates the music, dance and colour from around the globe … from the diversity of disco to the sauciness of salsa.

Dancing under the campaigning theme Freedom To Live the parade will also highlight the plight of those global LGBT communities whose basic right to party and live freely is denied.
