All Out is bringing people power to the movement for equality at an unprecedented rate. By mobilizing millions of people around the world at key moments of crisis and opportunity, we are shifting policy and cultural norms. We petition world leaders and global organisations and use creative campaigning tactics – online and offline – to capture the attention of the global media around the fight for equality. By mobilizing millions of people around the world in partnership with grassroots leaders, All Out hopes to achieve in 10 years what may have taken 50.

Who we are hiring

We are looking for a brilliant campaigner and project manager with online organizing experience and a commitment to build an informed, powerful base of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people and allies to push progress faster, and to change politics and culture at every level. This position will report into the Director of Campaigns and line-manage campaigners, responsible for human resources, troubleshooting, professional development and process management. We are looking for a leader who is detail-orientated, excited about implementation, and has experience in campaign operations.

Our campaigners are catalyzing the movement – designing, implementing and leading campaigns, working with local partners, and talking with our members daily to build a power base of people from around the world who believe in love and equality.

Campaigner Responsibilities :

Campaign execution : you can manage projects from fruition to execution in a fast-past, ever-changing environment. You can execute campaigns using both online and offline tactics like deliveries and protests around the world. You are media savvy, and you can pitch media and write compelling press releases. People Management: you have experience managing people and the ability to motivate a group of smart, quick-witted professionals to execute campaigns. You are a strong manager, with a talent for giving feedback and guiding individuals’ professional development. You can effectively work with a diverse team of colleagues located around the world.

Campaign generation and strategy : you can develop both campaign ideas and fundraising campaigns with strong theory of change and execution strategies. You are constantly researching and gathering information on LGBT movements and campaigns both in your region and globally. You can process and synthesize information and big ideas into concrete action plans. Relationship building: you are a good diplomat, able to identify and cultivate key relationships.

Qualifications :

• 5 years of professional experience, including at least two years of online campaigning or digital strategy experience and two years managing people and projects. Skills in investigative journalism and media production are also highly valued.
• Excellent people and project management skills.
• Strong leadership skills: takes initiative, solves problems, is an effective leader. Has the ability to influence, motivate and enable others to contribute toward the effectiveness and success of the organization. Is able to build trust within the team and acts with integrity.
• Strong research skills, you are constantly researching and gathering information on LGBT movements and campaigns both in your region and globally.
• Able to manage your own work and that of others to deliver on deadlines in a high-pressure “breaking news” environment where plans change and projects compete.
• Fluency in English, with a second language highly desirable. Specifically skills in Portuguese, Spanish and French.
• Excellent sense of humor.
