The production features a troop of dancing Cher’s, lead by Vanity Faire, and supported by over one hundred volunteer Sailors.
The full video clip is intended as a loving tribute to a legendary pop artist who has demonstrated passionate support for LGBTQI rights throughout her career, and also as a celebration and thanks to the many LGBTQI people who continue to serve our country as members of the Australian Navy.
The production has been officially endorsed by Cher herself, who tweeted during the final performance: “What could be more fabulous than a Cher-Off. You have my blessing!! Rip it up Aussie Boys!”
