CHRISTMAS CONCERT: London Gay Symphony Orchestra

This Christmas the LGSO present a concert of popular seasonal classics: bells will be ringing for Delius’ ‘Sleigh Ride’, trumpets will be sounding for Prokofiev’s ‘Lieutenant Kije’ (if that doesn’t sound familiar, you’ll surely recognize it from that other seasonal classic, ‘I Believe In Father Christmas’) and the strings will be soaring for Tchaikovsky’s First Symphony, AKA ‘Winter Dreams’. We’ll also be serving the season’s must-have mince pies and mulled wine.

by LGSO | 18th November 2013

This Christmas we’ll also be guest orchestra for An Evening of Movies and Musicals at Apollo Victoria Theatre on 1st December, featuring West End musical stars John Owen Jones, Louise Dearman, Gareth Gates and presented by Christopher Biggins.

London Gay Symphony Orchestra is the UK's oldest LGBT Orchestra and one of only a handful in the world.
