CSD Munich – The Munich Christopher Street Day (CSD) will be held this year from the 4th-12th Of July and represents the demand for acceptance of the diversity of modern family and life forms in the thematic focus.

Nachdem bereits klar war, dass der Münchner Christopher Street Day 2015 das Themenfeld „Familien“ von Lesben, Schwulen, Bisexuellen, Transgender und Intersexuellen zum Schwerpunktthema machen wird, fand wie üblich unter großer Szene-Beteiligung die Motto-Suche statt. Aus den eingereichten Vorschlägen präsentierten die Veranstalter – Sub, LeTRa, Münchner Aids-Hilfe und Rosa Liste – jetzt eine Shortlist beim Szenestammtisch**, dem Gremium sämtlicher Vereine und Gruppen der Münchner Regenbogen-Community. Dort fiel die Entscheidung für das Motto „Familie ist, was wir draus machen“.
„Familie ist zum Kampfbegriff von Homohassern geworden, die sich unter anderem als „Besorgte Eltern“ tarnen. Rechtspopulistische Parteien und Bewegungen versuchen uns LGBTIs mit einem heteronormativen Familienbild auszugrenzen und abzuwerten. Die katholische Kirche beharrt darauf: Familie gibt es nur in einer heterosexueller Ehe. Und selbst die Kanzlerin hat zwar keine guten Gründe, dafür aber umso mehr schlechtes Gefühl dabei, Lesben und Schwulen endlich die Adoption zu ermöglichen“, erklärt Thomas Niederbühl, Politischer CSD-Sprecher und Rosa Liste-Stadtrat.
„Anstatt Gleichberechtigung und Akzeptanz zu erfahren, werden wir immer öfter mit gesellschaftlichen Rückschritten konfrontiert, “ ergänzt CSD-Pressesprecherin Rita Braaz. „Deshalb wollen wir beim CSD die Vielfalt unserer gelebten Familien- und Lebensformen sichtbar machen, die auch unser München bereichern. Wir bestimmen selbst, was für uns Familie ist, und wollen, dass unsere selbstgewählten Familienformen auch gesellschaftlich akzeptiert und unterstützt werden.
Das reicht von Regenbogenfamilien über Wahlfamilien bis zu familiären Netzwerken. Und dazu gehört auch die ‚große Familie‘ unserer Community, in der wir ohne Diskriminierung und solidarisch miteinander leben wollen. Es geht uns also um positive Alternativen, Erweiterungen und Ergänzungen zum konservativen Familienbild. Familie ist eben, was wir draus machen!“
