Resource Center – Dallas, TX

Resource Center is the primary lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) and HIV/AIDS service organization in North Texas. Currently the Center is seeking a Database Analyst.

The primary responsibility of the Database Analyst is to gather requirements and determine the right solutions to advance the mission of the Center’s HIV programs and services by enhancing their ability to gather, use and report information. The Database Analyst works directly with staff at all levels to accomplish their work.

Additional responsibilities include assisting select staff with technical support of Microsoft Windows desktop/laptop computers, applications and related technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop solutions that establish agency best practices, comply with regulatory requirements, and optimize collaboration within and between departments
• Demonstrate exceptional proficiency with the ClientTrack Enterprise Data Management Tools and Platform
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of how ClientTrack solutions, features and benefits can provide value to the Center
• Installation and testing of computer systems and peripherals as requested
• Setup and configure printers, scanners and other peripherals as requested
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows desktop computers as requested

Education and Work Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, business information systems, project management and/or equivalent work experience
• Two or more years of project management experience preferred

Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

• Must have excellent communication (written and oral) skills and excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be able to think critically and analytically
• Comprehensive understanding of relational data models and data analysis

Equipment and Applications:

• Working knowledge of the Windows operating system required
• Experience with SQL is a plus
• Experience with ClientTrack products is a plus
• Experience with Health, Human and Social Service organizations is a plus
• Experience using Microsoft Reporting Services, Crystal Reports or Active Reports is a plus
