The Development Manager will be responsible for and grow all areas of development, including but not limited to, sponsorships, grant writing, ad sales, donations and fundraising.
Development Manager San Diego LGBT Pride
San Diego Pride is building its Dream Team. We seek an experienced professional dedicated to growing and improving our events and increasing our charitable contributions to the community.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Cultivate and maintain effective professional relationships with sponsors, donors, and funders
● Grow sponsorship sales, and manage contract fulfillment
● Expand grant-writing program
● Sell advertising in annual souvenir program guide
● Conceive and create donor/fundraising campaigns and programs
● Collaborate on the creation of development marketing materials
● Plan, coordinate and manage event VIP areas (rally, parade, festival)
● Oversee development interns and volunteers
Education and Experience
● College degree preferred
● Professional development/fundraising experience necessary
● Prior grant writing experience preferred
Skills and Abilities
● Proven team player in a professional environment
● Extremely organized with a strong attention to details
● Excellent oral and written communication skills
● Ability to work independently with minimal direction
● Solid negotiating skills
