The Donor Database Administrator will provide data based support to the fundraising team, volunteer solicitors and donors with specific focus on strategic development of data analytics.
Donor Database Associate GLSEN
Responsibilities:
Database Management
•Maintain and strategically develop the donor database by acting as database supervisor
•Ensure all donation mediums are synched with Raiser’s Edge (i.e. satellite sites, online and event donations)
•Develop processes which support the efforts of line managers and volunteer solicitors to ensure timely, accurate, and personalized communication with donors
•Investigate best practice options with regard to Raiser’s Edge Policies and Processes and provide a recommendation for updating and codifying a manual to support both new hire on-boarding and standardizing processes for all staff
•Create financial analytic reports, import tools, and tracking methods featuring key performance indicators to provide team with trends, predictors of success, and synthesized and simplified data
•Provide in-house donors with personalized acknowledgement letters within five business days and update thematic language on a scheduled basis
•Manage the relationship with our caging vendor to ensure contractual compliance, correct coding, streamlined processes and adherence to standards
•Support direct mail efforts by importing appeals, exporting mail lists, and reporting on results
•Support direct marketing efforts through the creation of segmentation and constituent lists within our CRM, Blue State Digital (BSD)
•Support direct marketing efforts by collecting edits throughout all departments involved in the creation of weekly e-mails and all direct marketing materials
•Support direct marketing efforts by loading weekly e-mails into CRM
Other Core Responsibilities
•Address donor concerns with individualized solutions and first-class customer service while providing guidance around giving opportunities
•Archive and steward potential promotional partners on a rolling basis
•Manage CFC and other indirect giving application processes
•Manage cause related marketing relationships, through initial interview process as well as creation and documentation of MOU’s with outside vendors
•Provide support to team during cultivation and fundraising events
•Maintain weekly development meeting agendas
•Manage development volunteers and interns
•Serve as point of entry for all outside Development calls
•Proofread materials and provide general support to line managers as needed
Position Qualifications
•The professional must have a Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent
•At least two years of experience working with Raiser’s Edge, a technical, analytic and administrative background preferred
•Attention to detail, follow-through and timeliness
•Must be willing and able to communicate comfortably with individual, corporate and foundation supporters of GLSEN
•Must be comfortable working with Microsoft Office software, specifically excel
•Passion for LGBT issues and education
•Willingness to travel and attend events as needed.
