EVENT: Justin Vivian Bond At Southbank

<p>Following sold-out shows in Paris and New York, cabaret legend and trans-genre artist Justin Vivian Bond will head to Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall on Tuesday 17th February to perform Love is Crazy, a seductive yet raucous evening of songs and stories about love. In the same week the show will also tour Manchester and Brighton.</p> <p></p><p>Expect the unexpected as Mx Bond performs original compositions from V’s very own records Dendrophile and Silver Wells, songs associated with V's stage and film appearances, and tracks originally made famous by the likes of The Cure, The Divine Comedy, Pet Shop Boys, Patti Smith, Bambi Lake. The show promises to be a mix of New York’s downtown performance scene and Parisian elegance.</p><p></p><p>Justin Vivian Bond is a writer, singer, painter, and performance artist. V is otherwise known as Kiki DuRane – one half of the Tony Award-nominated cabaret duo Kiki & Herb, who performed on and off-Broadway to great acclaim.
