Ex Boxing Champion Kassim Ouma has been arrested for assaulting a man who was allegedly making gay advances toward him.

According to TMZ, Police have said that the former IBF junior middleweight champion Kassim Ouma, 35, was arrested for battery in L.A on Friday. The former boxer was hanging out with a man who he had struck up a conversation with earlier in the evening.
TMZ say that Ouma declined numerous advances from the un-named man and when the boxer tried to leave the alleged victim made one final move. Ouma responded by pushing the man out of the way.
Soon after Ouma supposedly knocked the man out. Poilce were called to the scene and the victim was taken to hospital for treatment.
Kassim Ouma was born in Uganda and at the age of 6 was kidnapped and forced to join the National Resistance Army. According to Ouma he decided to stay in the US after a amateur boxing trip.
