CORPORATE AND FOUNDATION RELATIONS MANAGER
Location: Flexible – must be comfortable working from a home-based environment
Reporting to: Chief Development Officer
Under the guidance of the Chief Development Officer, the Corporate & Foundation Relations Manager works closely with the organization’s overall leadership team, to create and manage a well-coordinated, strategic development plan to cultivate, steward, and solicit support from foundations, corporations, and government sources. This position specifically works to establish long-term partnerships, strengthen existing relationships and initiate new contacts within these entities.
FELLOWSHIPS & INTERNSHIPS
FAMILY WEEK FELLOW
Location: Remote/working from home until June 1, 2018, after which date the Fellow will primarily work from a seasonal office space in Boston or Somerville, Massachusetts (accessible via the T)
Reporting to: Director of Family Engagement
The Family Week Fellow is an integral part of the Program team and will have a hands-on role in the planning and implementation of Family Week. The Fellow will work closely with the East Coast Regional Manager, the Program team, and across organizational departments, to assist in community outreach, event planning and execution, use of social media, fundraising, and much more.
Reports to: Director of Family EngagementThe Community & Program Interns are an integral part of the Program Team and play a hands-on role in all Family Equality Council community programs. This unpaid internship involves community outreach, event planning and execution, use of social media, fundraising, and much more. Success in this position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to problem solve independently, a team-oriented mindset, highly developed communication skills (written and verbal), superior interpersonal skills, and a commitment to social justice … and fun!
