Federal Government Supports Calgary Pride Parade with Investment in LGBTQ2 Community

Today, the Honourable Kent Hehr, Member of Parliament for Calgary Centre is announcing $91,200 in new funding for Pride Calgary. As part of The Government of Canada's commitment to support LGBTQ2 people across the country, a total of $91,200.00 will go to Pride Calgary through two funding streams: $41,200 through the Building Communities Through Arts and Heritage Fund – Local Festivals fund, and $50,000 through the Community Support, Multiculturalism, and Anti-Racism Initiatives Program.
