An evening against homophobia with Florence Queer Festival, Indie Pride, Arci and Novaradio Florence City Futura
The Florence Queer Festival , along with Florence ARCI , India Pride-Independent homophobia and Novaradio Città Futura , promotes ” Queer Florence Concert “, a musical evening for civil rights and against ‘ homophobia and transphobia . On stage starting from 20 Andrea Chimenti, Femina Ridens, Alia, Mandrake, Cosimo Morleo and many others: all the artists involved in the project Indies-Pride that, through music means to fight all forms of discrimination and promoting the integration of differences. Because music is, yes, entertainment, but it is especially culture and, as such, is also a political act: the musical language is a powerful tool in the fight for change and for the vindication of rights, against all forms of homophobia, transphobia and discrimination. Hence Indies-Pride, an art project that coivolge musicians and industry professionals in the recording industry together to put a stop to homophobia, in support of LGBT rights.
Saturday, November 7 from 20 to ‘ Exfila Florence will take the stage artists like Andrea Chimenti, Femina Ridens, Alia, Mandrake, Cosimo Morleo , for an evening of claim rights, broadcast live on Novaradio Città Futura, the radio of ‘Arci Florence. Leading the evening David and Martina Drago Agnoletti of Novaradio, with interviews with players, organizers and guests: with the musicians of IndiePride intervene Francesca Chiavacci, Arci National President, Robert Vannucci , President Arcilesbica national and artistic director of the festival and Queer Florence Antonia Peressoni Pride of India-Independent homophobia. Among the guests, Drusilla Foer who will talk about participating in the festival and video clips of his upcoming musical recital at The Half Of Mary that will project premiered their new music video, up to Rio Mezzanine who are working on the final version of the song against ‘homophobia,’ I said yes, “and many others .
The evening opens at 20 with an aperitif and ends with the DJ set and improvised rap of dj McNill.

ARTISTS OF INDIE-PRIDE:
MANDRAKE – Livorno, have two albums to their credit, “Zarastro” (Foerars 2012) and “Dancing with Viga” (Riff records / Inner aninmal 2015), critically acclaimed and with collaborations such as those with Lisa Papineau and the Honolulu Symphony.
ANDREA CHIMENTI – One of the leading figures of Italian music, first with fashion, then with solo projects including the debut of “The Mask of black crow and Other Stories” (1992), “The tree crazy” (1996) Product Consortium of Independent producers Maroccolo-Magnelli, “The port buried” (2002) where Chimenti plays the most beautiful verses of Giuseppe Ungaretti, and “Storm of flowers” in 2010. In addition to a live album (“Concert 1998”) and a collection (“Prohibited die”). The new album of Andrea Chimenti, “Yuri” (Soft discs / Santeria 2015), published a year after his namesake novel, was produced by Francesco Chimenti and Davide Andreoni of Sycamore Age.
ALIA – He made his debut with the EP “Air” produced by Cult in 2012. He has published in November 2014, the album “Asteroids” (Neverlab records), produced again by Cloud Cult, and with the collaboration of Cesare Malfatti and Raffaella Destefano. Appreciated by the critics, the album was nominated for the 2015 Targa Tenco.
FEMINA RIDENS – Francesca Messina (singer, actress and composer, several gold records as Lady Violet and founder of La Strange Matter) and Massimiliano Lo Sardo, after the debut with “Femina Ridens” (2013) published this year ” slapping “(A buzz supreme, 2015), very well received by critics who called the voice of Francesca Messina one of the most important and elusive of the Italian music scene
COSIMO MORLEO – comes from Turin, his classical training saw him deal with for years to baroque music, then the meeting with producer Henry Fornatto, and his debut “Genes dominant” (Controrecords 2012), which placed him at once ‘critical attention more careful.
