The Foundation Coordinator is primarily responsible for meeting the administrative needs and assigned programmatic duties for across three foundation programs: Children, Youth and Families (CYF), the Health and Aging Program (HAP) and the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Program.

Position Responsibilities
- Working with CYF and HAP program staff to administer online surveys of service providers including routine updates to the Healthcare Equality Index and All Children – All Families Agency Self-Assessment, conducting survey review, and authoring web content related to best practices in LGBT competency
- Assisting with the preparation of the annual Healthcare Equality Index report and other CYF, HAP and HBCU program publications
- Responding to requests for information, materials and assistance relating to CYF, HAP and HBCU
- Providing administrative and logistical support to CYF, HAP and HBCU staff
- Maintaining relevant program databases to track participating agencies, trainings and activities conducted by staff and consultants and other metrics as assigned
- Working with program staff to maintain up-to-date records of activities and accomplishments of the program and creating regular reports for staff, directors and board members
- Managing the inventory and assembly of program publications and materials; ensuring requests from staff and external stakeholders are handled efficiently and appropriately
- Coordinating and supporting on- and off-site meetings and events involving project collaborators
- Performing research and administrative tasks (including accounting tasks) for program staff, and other duties as assigned
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and/or one to three years relevant work experience
- Candidate should possess a strong work ethic, be very self-motivated, and have the demonstrated ability to work independently
- Exceptional attention to accuracy and detail is a must
- Outstanding organizational, task management and time management skills required
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and manage work under tight deadlines.
- Mastery of Microsoft Office software, experience with website editing software and database software are essential
- The candidate must be an able communicator, both verbally and in writing
- Experience with writing website and blog content and the capacity to produce a timely and informative newsletter is required. Experience utilizing social media accounts (Facebook) a plus
- Strong understanding of LGBT issues is expected. Demonstrated knowledge of and interest in LGBT issues around youth, health and aging and/or Historically Black Colleges and Universities is a plus.
