FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
(Vancouver, BC) -June 15, 2012 Robert Joseph Greene, author of “Crossover – Straight Men – Gay Encounters” (ICON EMPIRE PRESS ISBN 978-1468072341) has doubts that “homophobic christian turn gay” Timothy Kurek pursued his endeavor for the altruistic enlightenment.
“I have met many straight men who sincerely have curiosity about being gay but let’s face it, it was about sex and an intimate connection.
The author went on to say that “Timothy Kurek pursuit was a social endeavor not a sexual one which limits his understanding of the entire picture of being gay.”
“CROSSOVER: Straight Men ~Gay Encounters II” has garnered much attention after a bisexual group in the USA criticized the original ebook.
“This book (sic) does not reflect bisexuality because many (bisexuals) lead happy and meaningful lives,” says Jon S a participating member ofbi.org. The book is criticized because the “crossover” is from straight to gay. Many bisexuals don’t identify with this book because it doesn’t establish a transition into bisexuality.
The book is geared toward women to help them gain an understanding in the thought processes of male desire in men.
“Society has placed a double standard on sexuality,” says author Robert Greene. “Women can freely experiment and not be branded lesbian but men that try sex with another man will immediately be categorized as gay.”
The book tries to avoid the reference to bisexuality because most of the main characters self identify as heterosexual.
