London, United Kingdom (GayWebSource.com) – GayStarNews.com is taking the world by storm and has now passed 890k unique users a month.
GSN has been live one year this week when we soft launched into beta testing. Since our official launch in January 2012, we’ve continued to soar past our targets with massive monthly audience growth.
On top of this we’re now…
- The biggest LGBT news, entertainment, travel and information source in Europe and Asia
- Reached 890,885 unique visitors (different people visiting the site) in November alone
- On track to reach a million unique visitors in January 2013
- Award winning (Publication of the Year at Stonewall Awards; also a winner at National Diversity Awards)
All these achievements illustrate how GSN is rapidly becoming the leading choice for LGBT news in over 200 countries worldwide.
The GSN team is headed up by experienced gay journalists and editors Tris Reid-Smith and Scott Nunn.
Tris, the editor, said:
‘To go from launch to over 890,000 readers in a year is phenomenal. I can’t think of anyone else who has managed anything like that in the LGBT market. We remain hugely grateful to our fantastic readers and supporters for getting us so far, so fast.’
Scott, director of marketing and sales, said:
‘This has not only been an amazing achievement for GSN but for the whole of the LGBT community. We have exceeded our targets not just in Europe, but the Americas and Asia. In just 11 months GSN has become a vital part of gay people’s daily lives.’
