Reporting directly to the Pharmacist in Charge, the Pharmacist provides prescription product and appropriate service and consultation to every customer; supervises pharmacy technicians, clerks and pharmacy interns in compliance with federal and state laws and store policies and procedures.

We are an independent community pharmacy based in Midtown Atlanta and committed to exceptional customer service and clinical support. We specialize in serving the LGBT community and are experts in HIV and Hepatitis, as well as many other chronic disease states. From clinical expertise to copay assistance, we offer a personalized approach that is second to none in an industry dominated by big box pharmacies. We are looking for an energetic and passionate Pharmacist to join our team.

Experience:

At least one year of infectious disease clinical experience in a community setting.

Specifics we are seeking

Must be able to comfortably operate with a mostly LGBT population and have appropriate clinical experience in HIV and Hepatitis with corresponding knowledge of financial options for these therapies. Typical claims often involve extensive work with PBMs and provider offices. Successful candidate must be able and willing to independently and thoroughly work cases to ensure expeditious and affordable access of therapy to the patient. Must be able to operate reliably and consistently with minimal supervision and in occasionally ambiguous settings. Must be willing to work flexible hours, part time at first with eventual prospects for full time. Hours of operations are Monday through Friday 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM, with plans to begin opening on Saturday mornings in 2015.
