Being diplomatic when talking about weight is becoming increasingly difficult and this applies to both ends of the spectrum of weight issues.

Teenagers are so image conscious they watch the magazines and think they all have to look the same and the overweight adult is heading towards a catalogue of health issues if they do not take their weight into control.
Well meaning family and friends can exasperate a delicate topic without meaning to and the person with the 'weight concerns' does not always really know what is going on deep inside either. There are many triggers to weight issues and sometimes they are so deep in our sub-conscious we are not even aware of them. Whilst there are brilliant therapists out there to help us on our way getting to the point of being open to this does not always happen without some kind of trauma first. Our aim at LoveurSoul is to help people open their mindset to the concept there are alternative ways of dealing with our fears and we trust our approach helps those that care about you guide you in the right direction too. We want to help people make the changes before they hit the 'trauma' button
It is estimated that we think about our weight at least 60% of the time. Be that whether we need to lose or gain weight it is a topic we cannot get away from especially with all the media coverage constantly surrounding us about what we should look like. And when it comes to our teenagers it appears a lot of them think about it 90% of the time because supposedly 'Image is everything' and that is the ones without an 'eating' problem. Stress and high cortisol levels can also be a big limitation when trying to lose weight.
So when you care about someone but you know part of the problem is deeper than just what they eat, how do you help them find that inner peace for themselves and be happy with their bodyshape and who they are not what they look like. Diet and exercise is key to leading a healthy life but so is how we think of ourselves and this is sometimes more complex to understand.
LoveurSoul have put together 11 beautiful wellbeing boxes for every occasion when flowers, a box of chocolate or a card are not quite enough. The Wellbeing box is all about finding peace with ourselves and allowing our inner-self to shine out simply by accepting our perfectly flawed selves.
As Lucy Batham-Read founder of LoveurSoul explains, 'when working with own self-esteem nobody really knows what is going in inside of our heads except us and often the root cause is masked by a symptom, therefore nobody can give us the magic ingredient other than ourselves. So when trying to help someone it is not always easy to. From experience we have often found our wellbeing box helps people say 'we really do care' without necessarily 'saying it' and when it comes to weight this adds the extra dimension of being sensitve. We should also remember, no matter how hard someone tries, we can only unlock the key to our own answers when we are ready to and we are all unique no matter what the glossy magazines like to tell us. We think our box enables the receiver to allow themselves to be open to some of the answers that might have alluded them before.
