A celebration of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender life

Manchester Pride is an award-winning festival by, and for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community. The festival is officially the best LGBT event in the UK, as voted for by readers of the Pink Paper for five consecutive years.

The Manchester Pride festival runs throughout August. There are four elements to the festival:

Pride Fringe
Over 40 art, music, culture, debate and sports events

The Big Weekend
Over 70 hours of live music, across two stages, Dance Arena, Lifestyle Expo area, market stalls and much more

The Parade
Running through the heart of the city, a colourful, vibrant celebration of LGBT life.

The George House Trust Candlelit Vigil
Remember those who we have lost to the HIV virus or those living with HIV.
