This year during the opening reception of the Brothers and Sisters United© (BASU©) Network, Inc. will be recognizing local individuals with our prestigious Legacy Award! Each of our 2015 honorees have either volunteered or supported our efforts for ten or more years, and we’d love if you would join us as we thank them for their continue service to our efforts.

Annual activities include an opening reception, parties, book signings, spoken word showcase, live music & entertainment, a panel discussion, town hall meeting, health & wellness forum, a benefit event, workshops, couples recognition, free & confidential HIV & STI testing, a Cooking Competition, and Black LGBT Film & Cultural Fest.

Nashville Black Pride is open to all people regardless of race, sexual orientation, or gender identity. NBPs main outreach effort is focused on reaching the underserved SGL/LGBT Communities of Color in the Middle Tennessee area but is welcoming to ALL!

NBP is a proud member of the Center for Black Equity (CBE) formally known as the International Federation of Black Prides Organization (IFBP). The CBE is a coalition of Black pride organizers formed to promote a multinational network of LGBT Prides and community based organizations. The CBE was organized in 1999 and acquired its 501c3 non- profit status in 2004.

Center for Black Equity, known as the International Federation of Black Prides, is formally an American institution with a local reach strongly committed to supporting leaders, Institutions, Issues and Programs That Lead to social, economic, and cultural equity for all LGBT people of African descent.
