Christian B&B owners Hazelmary and Peter Bull say they have had to put their guesthouse for sale after facing a large legal bill and failing to attract enough business.

A Christian couple that refused to allow a gay couple to share a room, because of their beliefs are now selling their nine-bedroom Chymorvah Hotel in Cornwall, because business has nosedived since their controversial court case.
The couple initially refused a room to Mr Martyn Hall and Steven Preddy in 2008.
Mr. Hall and Mr. Preddy then took the Bulls to court in a high profile court case, which the civilly partnered couple won. The Bulls were ordered to pay £3600 in damages to Mr Hall and Mr. Preddy.
Speaking to the Express Mrs. Bull said,
‘We were optimistic in the spring. Why wouldn't we be with the summer ahead of us?
‘We have had a better summer than we thought but nowhere near good enough to pay our way.
'We were not even half-full. We must have been the only place in west Cornwall that had rooms left.’
The hotel is no longer listed by Visit England since the Equalities Act was brought in in 2007 and the couple have found themselves on the brink of bankruptcy.
The couple whose anti-gay policy of only letting married people share a bed have allegedly received death threats and have had their website hacked with porn. The couple also claim that they have had the bolts removed from the wheels of their car and a dead rabbit nailed to a fence.
In March 2013, the Independent reported that the Chymorvah Hotel has been turned in to a respite care centre for Christians and would be run as a ‘not-for-profit’ organisation which means anyone staying under the Bull’s roof will have to abide by their rules, as long as those rules are set out in the company’s articles.
On the hotel’s website, customers are given a special note before booking a double bed which reads: ‘Here at Chymorvah we have few rules, but please note that as Christians we have a deep regard for marriage(being the union of one man to one woman for life to the exclusion of all others).
