Kylie will be joining Sir Tom and will.i.am for the next series of The Voice on BBC One.
"I'm very excited to become a coach on The Voice UK," Minogue said.
"I love the concept of the show and have been an avid viewer of both series."
She added: "The search for new talent is such an important aspect of the music industry and The Voice UK gives us all a part to play in that.
"Will I be competitive? Probably more than even I imagine! Watch this space!"
BBC controller of entertainment commissioning Mark Linsey said: "Kylie is a hugely respected figure within the world of music and will be a fantastic addition to The Voice UK.
The fourth coach for the 3rd series will be announced in 'due course'.
The new series is set to air in January 2014
