NEWS: How The Papers Reacted To The News Of Margaret Thatcher

<p>Britain's newspapers went to town yesterday with their coverage on the news of the death of Baroness Thatcher, we look at their front pages.</p> <p>by Newsdesk | 10th April 2013</p> <p></p> <p></p> <p>Baroness Thatcher who was the UK’s Premier from 1979 -1990 is largely remembered as a hugely divisive and polarising political figure. </p> <p></p> <p>Her government was the first to introduce a new anti-gay law in 100 years in the guise of Section 28.</p> <p></p> <p>Section 28 of the Local Government Act 1988, prohibited the ‘promotion’ of homosexuality in schools.</p> <p></p> <p>The Act was enacted on May 24th 1988 during Thatcher’s leadership.
