As Peers debated The Marriage (same-sex) Bill in the House of Lords yesterday, scores of gay rights supporters turned up to listen to the London Gay Men's Chorus (LGMC) sing, wave their banners and bask in the glorious evening sun

The crowd enjoyed a marathon performance from the LGMC, speeches from Human Rights campaigner Peter Tatchell, Baroness Liz Barker, Helen Grant MP and Yvette Cooper MP as well as many people who honked their horns in support of equality.
Opposition to equal marriage came in a very small group consisting of 4 people holding banners.
