The Institute for Human Identity, a NYC-based psychotherapy and training institute, is looking for a dynamic part-time administrative assistant to join our team.The assistant would be working from 5pm until 9pm Monday thru Thursday.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greet clients
- Collect fees
- Answer phone and field inquiries
- Enter client information and payment information on client management system
- Schedule appointments with new clients
- Provide new clients with intake materials
- Monitor office inventory and order supplies as needed
- Maintain office appearance
- Transmit phone messages to therapists
- Copying, typing, filing, fax, etc
- Manage room assignments for therapists
- Provide reports for therapists and/or clients as needed
- Close office in evening
Qualifications
- Takes initiative, self-starter a MUST
- Friendly, outgoing demeanor
- Problem solver
- Organized, detail oriented, responsible, trustworthy
- Ability to multitask and prioritize
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel (Photoshop a plus)
- Punctual
- Sensitive to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community
- Sensitive to issues related to mental health
- Ability to commit to at least six months on the job
Compensation is $11/hr.
