Manchester City centre was taken over by tens of thousands of revellers today, to celebrate the City's long standing relationship with the LGBT community. Manchester has long been known for its gay friendliness and gay centre, Canal Street.
The four day event is now in its 23rd year and this year's theme celebrated gay couples being able to marry, after the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013 was introduced in March.
