‘PHURFEST’ A BEAR GATHERING IN THE PHOENIX SUN

Join the Bears of the West for Phurfest ‘Osos De Mayo,’ May 2-6th, 2013. Enjoy fun in the sun, a chance to meet new friends, and explore what Phoenix has to offer. Phoenix Phurfest has been around for 10 years. The theme for Phurfest 2013 is Cinco de Mayo, a fiesta for bears and admirers to escape from the hum drum and break out into your favorite sombrero and party with some fellow ursus. During the past ten Phurfests, almost 2000 bears and buddies from over 10 countries have enjoyed the warmth and friendliness of our city. Thus, making Phurfest weekend quite popular among the bears. Registration for Phurfest 2013 will be accepted through April 30, 2013, or until 200 bears have registered. We choose to cap our attendance to make sure that it remains a size that is fun, friendly, and manageable. Day tours will be available on Thursday and Friday, or just lay back and enjoy the heated pool and Jacuzzi.
