Now in its 25th year, the Pride in the Park Festival is a combination platform for engaging Roanoke and southwest Virginia about diversity and a celebration of LGBT Pride. The Pride in the Park Festival originally started as a community picnic in Highland Park in the Old Southwest neighborhood of Roanoke and has grown into what is today, taking place in Elmwood Park in downtown Roanoke.
