Today Edinburgh will play host to thousands of revellers for its annual gay pride: Pride Scotia.

As official media sponsors for Pride Scotia, TheGayUK is pleased to announce that Pride day has arrived in Edinburgh as thousands of gay, lesbian, bi and transgender people celebrate their diversity in the city centre.
The march will assemble outside Scottish Parliament from 11:30 - and will move promptly at noon on the 15th June 2013
The march route will be High Street, crossing in portions at North Bridge.

Pride Scotia (Edinburgh) exists to promote equality and diversity and protect the future of the LGBT community in Scotland.
Vision
Pride Scotia (Edinburgh) will:
Create a safe space to engage communities in the celebration of their sexual orientation.
Coordinate the bi-annual Pride celebration in Edinburgh
Capture and build upon our organisation's and our communities' history.
Provide a platform for education through a significant public presence.
Run a not-for-profit organisation, committed to volunteers and staff.
