Job Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of development projects and special sales/marketing related initiatives as they relate to resources required by the digital team. The PM will be the central coordinator between the Digital Media team and other internal departments managing projects and tickets, seeking business case clarification where needed and insuring that proper resource and timeline planning is occurring to meet deadlines. This role is a combination of project management and strategy; working with management to source, evaluate and implement software and vendor solutions for digital properties. This role is integral to our operations and growth and provides a variety of experience in all facets of the company.

Required Qualification/Skills:
• Works closely with Product, Business, Editorial and Sales/Marketing to understand new business needs and requests, and define projects task and resource requirement and allocations)
• Must be confident, passionate, and enthusiastic about selling Here Media brands and have an entrepreneurial and creative approach to business
• Meets regularly with Team Leads to understand project and program status
• Is the Project Manager within the Digital Medial Group
• Develop full scale projects and maintain project milestones and manages roadmap planning
• Coordinates, prioritizes and schedules work for development team
• Works with management to ensure that group resource and timeline goals are met
• Assists in team development while holding team members accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work and leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions, and then lead the post-implementation project review process
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Leads QA process for new product releases
• Manages budget for assigned project(s), develops and monitors project/program plan(s), and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
• Assists in sourcing, evaluating and implementing new web and mobile technologies
• Work with executive management for feasibility and impact analysis of new development projects
• Works with management to identify ways to improve efficiencies

Skills/Requirements:

• BA or BS or 5+ years of Digital project management experience within a development environment
• Must have extensive Project Manager experience, or other applicable experience
• Experience with Media or Publishing company operations
• Must have hands-on experience with supporting and teaching practices like Iteration Planning, Release Planning, Retrospectives, Writing User Stories, Velocity-based Planning, Continuous Delivery, Test-Driven Development
• Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and engineering individuals at all levels including the executive level, and be able to work with various groups to resolve conflicts
• Experience overseeing multi-function project teams
• Experience with developing and deploying software in a rapid delivery schedule
• Good Command of JIRA, Agile, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
• Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies with enterprise-level application development projects
• Must have experience in working in a fast paced environment, and be able to handle multiple projects at the same time
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, facilitation, organizational, prioritization, decision making, and conflict resolution skills
• Experience driving and being accountable for successful project delivery
