Project Coordinator Columbia University School of Nursing
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and daily administrative operations of the Elder LGBT Interprofessional Collaborative Care Program (ELINC).
Under the Direction of the ELINC Project Director, the Project Coordinator will be responsible for:
-Assisting with the coordination and scheduling of health promotion and preventive health workshops & classes.
Assisting with completion of program reports and data collection.
-Identifying opportunities and assisting in the preparation of grants, and other avenues for program expansion and funding.
-Assisting the Program Evaluator with data collection.
-Serving as a liaison for the program with other community-based LGBT, older adult, and health care organizations.
-Working with the Project Director and Co-Director to develop and build interprofessional collaborative practice opportunities.
-Assist the field-based ELINC health care team as needed to provide patient-centered care.
-Assisting with quality improvement activities.
-Coordinating team meetings and conference calls.
-Participates in interprofessional collaborative team projects and meetings.
-Other related duties as assigned.
This is a 3 year grant funded position.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a health related field or equivalent in education and experience, plus three years of related experience. Familiarity with LGBT health issues and or older adult services. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and computer skills.
Masters degree health related field
