The Project Coordinator will provide research support to multiple on-going complex and dynamic projects related to MSM Behavioral HIV Prevention and LGBT Health. This individual will work closely with Principal Investigators/research teams with all research activities including staffing, training, scheduling and overall protocol management; providing on-going monitoring and program evaluation, data collection, data input, analysis, interpretation and reporting. Incumbent will also assist investigators with IRB applications, renewals and modifications and participate in the development of new research activities and materials.

Additional Education and/or Experience Essential to the Position
A masters degree in a field of behavioral health sciences research or equivalent experience. Three years of experience is preferred, but some flexibility exists with regards to experience depending on the individual’s professional merits. Previous experience including a high level of computer proficiency, database management, public health literature searching, and study coordination. Previous familiarity with research design, method development, especially with regard to LGBT health and/or HIV are desirable. Must have strong interpersonal communication skills (oral and written) and the ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Two to three years experience working in a very detailed-oriented capacity. Experience in an academic and research environment and/or working with marginalized communities helpful. Knowledge of LGBT health issues.
