Responsible for all day to day operations for the Los Angeles LGBT Center’s six locations.

Property Management Coordinator
- Respond to, prioritize and coordinate daily requests from approximately 20 different departments for Facilities needs at multiple locations; primarily through the use of the Facilities Point Person System, and Track-It or other software program;
- Manage and monitor regular building and property maintenance/repairs for all Center locations; schedule and oversee regular outside vendor/contractor assignments;
- Assist with organization and management of all building access, lock, and key systems;
- Organize and maintain facilities storage solutions;
- With the Facilities Management Team, management of onsite and offsite staff, client & visitor parking;
- With the Facilities Manager, investigate, evaluate and implement all building and equipment repairs, purchases and renovation projects as assigned;
- Assist the Facilities Manager with all construction and remodel projects as needed;
- With the Facilities Management Team, manage and maintain compliance with all government building regulations, including monitoring, testing, and proper operation of all Life Safety and Security Systems;
- Assist the Facilities Finance & Business Systems Manager with the opening of purchase orders, variance reporting, and other departmental financial responsibilities as needed;
- With the Security Supervisor, monitor and control theft and property damage, through report investigation, follow up and record keeping;
- With the Facilities Management Team, be responsible for the reporting, investigation and follow up of all accidents for OSHA compliance, Workers Compensation, and Center Security reporting systems;
- With the Facilities Management Team, work on the development, implementation and management of agency wide safety plan (Injury and Illness Prevention Plan), Facilities policies and procedures, and compliance with OSHA and other government regulations.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Participate in staff meetings, planning meetings and other meetings and events as required and/or needed;
2) On-call for scheduled and emergency situations;
3) Act as back up for Facilities Manager as needed;
4) Other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
1) 3 years minimum of property management experience;
2) Knowledge and experience in general building management, maintenance and equipment repair;
3) Strong organizational skills, including superior written and verbal communication skills;
4) Must have the ability to pleasantly and professionally handle a heavy workload of many diverse requests via phone, e-mail and in person, in the middle of a very busy office setting.
5) Ability to work cooperatively with many departments, clients and other agency staff members;
6) Demonstrated ability to work effectively with men and women of diverse races, ethnicities, ages, and sexual orientations in a multicultural social services environment;
7) Proficient computer knowledge a must; MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook, and the aptitude to learn other complex software programs;
8) Valid CA driver’s license and vehicle w/ proof of insurance, DMV printout;
9) Bi-Lingual a plus; (English / Spanish preferred).
