RAINBOW LAW COMMISSIONED TO WRITE LGBT LEGAL GUIDE

PITTSBURGH, PA, APRIL 3, 2012: Carrie Stone, lesbian activist and co-owner/operator of Rainbow Law, has been signed by John Wiley & Sons to co-author a do-it-yourself legal guide aimed at the LGBT Community. With a working title of ?Same-Sex Legal Kit for Dummies? the book is part of the Wiley & Son?s series of ‘for Dummies’ reference guides.

Unlike most LGBT-centered self-help legal books, the Same-Sex Legal Kit is not written in legalistic jargon. On the contrary, our book provides a comprehensive set of step-by-step instructions complete with sample forms, worksheets and other documents so the average LGBT person can create fundamental legal protections, rights and benefits for his or her family of choice.

If you are thinking about getting married, changing your name, setting up house with a life partner, adopting or having a child, are concerned about issues of illness, injury, aging, or virtually any other vitally important legal matter, this is one reference book you need to own.

Whether LGBT, straight, male or female, the ?Same-Sex Legal Kit for Dummies? is an essential resource for anyone who has ever wanted to do everything in their power to make sure their loved ones are cared for and protected ? no matter what.

?The Same-Sex Legal Kit for Dummies? will be available at bookstores and online in September 2012.
